The Democratic Party through the
party's official convention finally declared Kamala Harris as a presidential
candidate to replace Joe Biden who declared his withdrawal from the
contestation of the 2024 United States presidential election. This means that
Kamala Harris is the second woman in the history of the United States
presidential election after in 2016, Hillary Clinton became the first female
presidential candidate from the Democratic Party. Kamala Harris, who is
currently the incumbent vice president, will fight against Donald Trump, a
Republican presidential candidate who is ambitious to return to the White House
to lead the United States. The Trump vs Kamala duel will be an interesting
rivalry to follow what the final result will be. All will be answered on
November 5, 2024. Kamala Harris, who is currently 59 years old, will challenge
the 78-year-old Trump. The question is, of the two presidential candidates, who
has the chance to win?

According to a survey released by
the United States-based research institute The Economist, the chances of
electing each candidate are both wide open with a tendency for Kamala to be
slightly ahead of Trump. According to the findings of The Economist released on
September 10, 2024, Kamala Harris is ahead of Donald Trump with a difference of
48.7 percent vs 46.2 percent. If these survey findings are consistent and tend
to increase until election day, then it is likely that Kamala Harris will be
elected as the 47th president of the United States and become the first woman
to become president of the United States.
Predictions of Kamala's superiority over Trump actually began to appear when one by one world political figures supported the first black vice president of South Asian descent. Call it, starting from the support of former President Obama and his wife, former President Bill Clinton and his wife, and the latest support from Russian President Vladimir Putin who openly stated his support for Kamala Harris instead of Donald Trump.
